DALLAS CITYSCAPE, a Lumin Education Fundraiser, Back at Galleria Dallas

DALLAS CITYSCAPE is an annual fundraiser that solely benefits Lumin Education.  The summer exhibit is at Galleria Dallas and ends September 2, so make sure to go.

DALLAS CITYSCAPE is an engaging and educational exhibit spotlighting several Dallas landmarks comprised of more than 2.5 million blocks and other toy-building supplies!   Families can experience replicas of some of the most influential Dallas buildings all on a miniature scale.

This summer the exhibit has added two special features to its programming lineup.  Individuals are invited to participate in the 2013 DALLAS CITYSCAPE Sculpture Competition for cash and to be featured as part of the permanent collection. Additionally, kids 8-12 may enroll in an innovative opportunity, Play-Well TEKnologies Engineering Workshop with LEGO®, to explore concepts in physics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and architecture using the LEGO® Building System. The program will be held 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on August 14 for ages 5-7 ($28) and 9 a.m. – noon on August 15 and 16 for ages 8-12 ($40 each day.)

You can help the children of Lumin Education by visiting the exhibit and telling your friends.
