Gift Planning

Your generosity helps to ensure that Lumin Education will always be here to provide the educational foundation future generations will need. Some of the ways you can help:

Bequest from your Will or Living Trust

You can easily make a charitable gift of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate/trust, a certain asset, or you can designate Lumin Education as a “residual beneficiary” of your estate. In addition to contributing a generous charitable gift, your trust or estate receives an estate tax benefit as well.

Beneficiary designation from Retirement Plan

By designating Lumin Education as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, you support not only the children and families we serve, you also avoid both estate and income tax consequences.

Charitable gift of a Life Insurance Policy

You can assign whole life insurance policies by naming Lumin Education as the beneficiary. In return for your generosity, you receive a tax benefit for the premiums paid on the policy.
