Pregnancy to Age Three

In the first three years, a child learns more and at a faster pace than at any other time in life. Lumin Education takes advantage of this time through a commitment to Parent Education and Infant/Toddler Classrooms.

Program

Parent Education

Our Parent Education component is based upon the internationally-recognized, evidence-based Parents As Teachers (PAT) model. Our PAT Program is a family education and support program that begins prenatally and extends through age three.

Pregnancy to Age Three (P-3) offers a multi-faceted, systematic approach to addressing the developmental needs of children from birth to age three. Our P-3 Program focuses on teaching parents to be actively and confidently involved in their child’s development and education, through regularly scheduled in-home visits.

Certified Parent Educators support parents through a curriculum that translates neuroscience research, observations, and scientific information on child development into concrete suggestions for healthy lifestyles and parent-child activities that encourage: language development, intellectual growth, social development, motor skills, and more.

Throughout this program, parents will acquire knowledge and skills to make the most of these crucial, early learning years.

By educating parents on how to become their child’s first and best teachers, children learn, grow, and develop to realize their full potential.

Toddler Classrooms

Each day, toddlers (18 months – 3 years), enter a multi-age classroom uniquely prepared with engaging, hands-on learning materials. Our bilingual teaching team guides toddlers as they learn to button a shirt, clean up after themselves, and use language to express wants and needs.
